Responsible Gaming at Playdash Casino

Gambling should stay a form of entertainment you control, not a habit that controls you. On this page we set out, in plain language, every protection we have built into your Playdash Casino account and where to find free, confidential help if things feel off balance.

Our Commitment to Your Wellbeing

We take your wellbeing as seriously as your payouts. Playdash Casino operates under licence OGL/2023/156/0923 issued by the Curaçao Gaming Control Board, and that licence comes with a duty of care we do not treat as a formality. Every account on our platform has access to the same set of protective tools, from the moment it is created and without needing to contact anyone first.

Our systems run in the background too. We monitor play patterns for markers of harm, such as sharp increases in deposit frequency, extended sessions at unusual hours, or repeated failed withdrawals followed by immediate redeposits. When those signals appear, we reach out privately and, where the pattern is severe, we may apply limits to your account while we talk it through with you. Reality checks are part of the same framework: you can have an on-screen reminder of how long you have been playing and your net result for the session, delivered at intervals you choose.

Warning Signs We Ask You to Watch

Problem gambling rarely announces itself. It tends to build quietly, which is why we would rather you know the signs early than hear about them late. If several of the items below describe you or someone close to you, that is a signal to act, not a reason for shame.

  • Chasing losses: returning immediately after a losing session to win the money back.
  • Playing longer than you planned, or being unable to stop when your set time is up.
  • Hiding your play from family or friends, or lying about how much you deposit.
  • Borrowing money, selling possessions or using bill money to fund your account.
  • Feeling irritable, anxious or restless when you are not gambling.
  • Gambling to escape stress, grief or low mood rather than for enjoyment.
  • Neglecting work, study or relationships because of time spent playing.
  • Repeatedly increasing your limits to chase the same level of excitement.

Tools You Can Set Right Now

All of the controls below live in your account dashboard under Profile, then Responsible Gaming, and each one takes effect immediately. You can tighten any limit instantly; loosening or removing a limit takes 24 hours to apply, by design, so a late-night decision cannot undo your protection.

  • Deposit limits: cap the amount you can deposit per day, week or month, set under Responsible Gaming > Deposit Limit.
  • Loss limits: restrict your net losses over a rolling period so your balance can never drop faster than you decided, under Loss Limit.
  • Wagering limits: cap the total value of bets you can place in a set period, under Wagering Limit.
  • Session timeouts: automatically log you out after a chosen number of minutes, under Session Limits.
  • Reality checks: a persistent on-screen clock plus pop-up reminders of time played and net results, under Reality Check.
  • Cooling-off periods: a short break of 24 hours to 30 days during which your account is frozen, activated under Cool-Off.
  • Self-exclusion: a longer, binding break that blocks access to your account entirely, activated under Self-Exclusion.

How Self-Exclusion Works Here

Durations and immediate effects

We support five self-exclusion durations: 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 6 months and permanent. Once self-exclusion is confirmed, your account is closed to logins immediately, all promotional emails stop, and any deposits in transit to your account are returned to the source. Your remaining balance is paid out to your verified withdrawal method, typically within our standard 0 to 24 hour window for crypto and 1 to 3 business days for fiat.

Open bets placed before the exclusion stands are settled normally, and any winnings from them are added to your payout. We do not cancel wagers mid-event, but nothing new can be placed from the moment the exclusion begins.

DurationWhat happensReactivation
24 hours to 30 daysAccount frozen; balance paid out; promotions pausedAutomatic at the end of the period
6 monthsAccount frozen; balance paid out; all marketing stoppedOn request, only after the full term ends
PermanentAccount closed; balance paid out; account never reactivatedNot available, and we will not let you open a new one

Reactivation and new accounts

For fixed-term exclusions, access resumes automatically when the period ends, and your previous limits remain in place unless you raise them, which carries the same 24-hour delay. During an exclusion period we will not reactivate your account early on request; that wait is part of the protection. If we detect an attempt to open a second account under a different name or email to get around an exclusion, we close it and return the deposit.

Keeping Under 18s Off Our Platform

You must be at least 18 years old to hold a Playdash Casino account. Our KYC process requires photo ID, proof of address and payment verification before your first withdrawal, and age checks are run at registration as well, so a date of birth under 18 blocks account creation outright. Accounts later found to belong to a minor are closed and balances refunded to the original deposit source.

If children or teenagers have access to your devices, do not leave your session logged in, and consider parental control software such as Net Nanny, Qustodio or CyberPatrol, which can block gambling sites at device level. Filtering tools from providers like Gamban and BetBlocker work across phones, tablets and desktops and can be installed for free.

Talk to Us Directly

Our live chat runs 24/7 and is the fastest way to set or change a limit, start a cool-off or ask us to walk you through self-exclusion. Select the Responsible Gaming option in the chat menu so your request is routed to a trained agent rather than a general queue. You can also email [email protected] with the subject line Responsible Gaming; we action these requests within 24 hours and never ask you to justify why you want a limit or a break.

You do not need to be in crisis to use these tools. Setting a modest deposit limit on day one is the single most effective step you can take, and we would rather see you set one you never think about again than wish you had.

Frequently asked questions

Can I reverse a self-exclusion before it ends?

No. Fixed-term exclusions run their full course, and we will not reactivate your account early. Permanent exclusions cannot be reversed at all, and any duplicate accounts opened during an exclusion are closed.

How long does it take to lower my deposit limit?

Lowering or tightening any limit takes effect immediately. Raising or removing a limit has a mandatory 24-hour waiting period so the change cannot be made impulsively.

What happens to my balance when I self-exclude?

Your remaining balance is paid out to your verified withdrawal method, within 0 to 24 hours for crypto and 1 to 3 business days for fiat. Open bets settle normally and any winnings are added to that payout.

Can someone else ask you to limit my account?

With your authorisation, yes; a third party with your written permission can contact our support team to set limits. We cannot act on third-party requests alone, but we will always encourage you to consider them seriously.

Is Gambling Help Online free?

Yes. Gambling Help Online and the 1800 858 858 line are free, confidential and available 24/7 across Australia, for gamblers and for family and friends affected by someone else's gambling.
